China's exports of trichloroethylene (TCE) rose sharply in the first quarter of 2026, while tetrachloroethylene (PCE) shipments more than doubled from a year earlier despite a steep monthly decline in March, according to data released by the General Administration of Customs of China.
In March 2026, China exported 4,000 tonnes of trichloroethylene, up 69.0% from the previous month and 25.0% higher than a year earlier, customs data showed.
