In December 2025, China's benzyl alcohol imports totaled USD 84,288, registering declines on both a month-on-month and year-on-year basis. Exports reached USD 5,015,313, up 18.67% month-on-month but down 23.43% compared with the same period last year. The divergent performance between imports and exports highlights a subdued inbound demand environment alongside relatively resilient outbound shipments, despite ongoing year-on-year pressure.
Import Analysis
In December 2025, China imported 17,652 kilograms of benzyl alcohol, with a total value of USD 84,288 and an average unit price of USD 4,774.98/MT. Import volumes fell sharply by 70.82% month-on-month and 86.93% year-on-year. In value terms, imports decreased by 62.61% from the previous month and by 74.22% from a year earlier. The shipments were sourced from eight trading partners.


Export Analysis
In December 2025, China exported 3,681,443 kilograms of benzyl alcohol, generating total export revenue of USD 5,015,313, with an average export price of USD 1,362.32/MT. Export volumes rose by 4.15% month-on-month but declined by 14.55% year-on-year. Export value increased by 18.67% compared with November, while posting a 23.43% decrease year-on-year. Chinese benzyl alcohol was exported to 53 overseas markets.
