The 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) concluded on July 20 in Beijing. According to the official closing press conference, the event attracted 1,200 Chinese and international exhibitors, who established cooperative relationships with 42,000 upstream and downstream enterprises. Preliminary statistics show that more than 6,000 cooperation agreements and partnership intentions were signed or reached during the expo.
"This year's Chain Expo featured higher-level participation, stronger turnout, broader exchanges, and more concrete results," said Li Xingqian, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). Senior officials from multiple countries, over 40 executives from Fortune Global 500 companies, and heads of major international organizations attended the event. A total of 172 international delegations participated-2.2 times the number from the previous edition. The expo welcomed over 210,000 visitors both online and offline, a 5% increase year-on-year. Around 70 side events were held, reflecting strong recognition and enthusiasm for the expo.
Data shows that international exhibitor participation has grown steadily over the past three editions of CISCE, rising from 26% at the inaugural event to 32% in the second edition, and to 35% this year. More than 65% of exhibitors were Fortune 500 companies or industry leaders. Exhibitors hailed from 75 countries and regions this year, up from 55 in the first edition. A large number of companies from the U.S., EU, and Japan took part actively, and 25 international organizations joined the event. In total, 172 international delegations came to explore cooperation.
Li Xingqian noted that the number of U.S. companies and organizations exhibiting this year increased by 15% compared to last year, maintaining their position as the largest group among international exhibitors.
Yang Xiaojun, Director of the CCPIT Department of Industrial Development, shared that overall exhibitor satisfaction reached 95%. Many companies expressed a strong desire to expand their participation next year and bring along more global suppliers and clients.
At the signing ceremony for the 4th CISCE, 102 Chinese and international enterprises and institutions-including Honeywell, GE Healthcare, Siemens, Corning, Sumitomo Electric, ZTE, Alibaba, SERES, and Winner Medical-signed letters of intent to exhibit next year. This marks a 50% increase in signings compared to last year's onsite agreements.
