According to the latest customs data, in June 2025, China imported 0.9 tons of dichloromethane, a decrease of 93.2% month-on-month and a 86.9% drop year-on-year. Exports totaled 13,215.4 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 29.5%, but a 3.75% increase compared to the same period last year. The export price was $387.2/ton, down 2.1% month-on-month and 2.7% year-on-year.
From January to June 2025, China imported 44.7 tons of dichloromethane, a year-on-year decrease of 94.9%, while exports reached 105,172.1 tons, a 22.8% increase compared to the same period last year.
Top Export Destinations:
In the first half of 2025, China’s major export destinations for dichloromethane were Turkey, Vietnam, Brazil, Nigeria, and South Korea, accounting for a total of 47,439.1 tons, or 45.1% of total exports. Specifically:
* Exports to Turkey: 13,918.7 tons (13.2%)
* Exports to Vietnam: 9,778.4 tons (9.3%)
* Exports to Brazil: 8,403.8 tons (8.0%)
* Exports to Nigeria: 8,280.9 tons (7.9%)
* Exports to South Korea: 7,057.4 tons (6.7%)
Trichloromethane (TCM)
According to the latest customs data, in June 2025, China imported 1,575.1 tons of trichloromethane, a year-on-year increase of 58.4%. Exports totaled 217.9 tons, a 124.6% increase month-on-month, and a 31.6% increase year-on-year. The export price was $331.0/ton, down 16.5% month-on-month.
From January to June 2025, China imported 1,575.4 tons of trichloromethane, a year-on-year decrease of 64.6%, while exports totaled 913.1 tons, a 34.5% decrease year-on-year.
Top Export Destinations:
In the first half of 2025, China’s major export destinations for trichloromethane were South Korea, Brazil, Ukraine, Iran, and Argentina, accounting for 896 tons, or 98.1% of total exports. Specifically:
* Exports to South Korea: 760 tons (83.2%)
* Exports to Brazil: 48 tons (5.3%)
* Exports to Ukraine: 40 tons (4.4%)
* Exports to Iran: 24 tons (2.6%)
