China National Chemical Engineering Reports 2025 Revenue, Profit Growth
China National Chemical Engineering Group reported slower revenue growth in 2025 while maintaining solid profit expansion, according to a recent company announcement.
The company posted total operating revenue of 189.501 billion yuan ($27.5 billion), up 1.97% year-on-year, marking a further deceleration compared with the previous year.
By segment, its core engineering business remained the primary revenue driver, generating 178.133 billion yuan, a modest increase of 1.59% year-on-year and accounting for 93.69% of total revenue.
The industrial segment delivered stronger performance, with revenue rising 11.47% to 9.754 billion yuan. Its share of total revenue increased to 5.13%, positioning it as a key growth engine.
In contrast, the modern services segment declined, with revenue falling 10.98% year-on-year to 2.238 billion yuan, representing 1.18% of total revenue.
Despite slower top-line growth, profitability improved. Total profit reached 8.435 billion yuan, up 14.61% year-on-year. Net profit attributable to shareholders stood at 6.436 billion yuan, an increase of 13.15%, while net profit excluding non-recurring items rose 10.44% to 6.090 billion yuan.
The gap between growth in net profit attributable to shareholders and recurring net profit narrowed, indicating more stable earnings quality even as overall profit scale continued to expand.
