According to the latest data released by China Customs, China's trade in trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA) showed mixed performance in December 2025, with imports rising sharply year-on-year while exports declined compared with the same period last year.
December 2025: Imports Surge, Exports Decline
In December 2025, China imported 32.4 tons of trichloroisocyanuric acid, marking a significant year-on-year increase.
During the same month, exports totaled 15,921.5 tons, representing a year-on-year decrease of 18.3%.
From a destination perspective, China's TCCA exports in December were mainly shipped to:
• Mexico: 2,265.9 tons, with an average price of USD 969.8 per ton, accounting for 14.2% of total exports.
• Canada: 1,438.3 tons, with an average price of USD 1,327.9 per ton, accounting for 9.0%.
• Indonesia: 1,117.6 tons, with an average price of USD 852.6 per ton, accounting for 7.0%.
These three markets remained key destinations for Chinese TCCA exports during the month, reflecting continued demand across North America and Southeast Asia.
January–December 2025: Annual Exports Maintain Growth Momentum
For the full year from January to December 2025, China imported 178.2 tons of trichloroisocyanuric acid, up 9.8% year-on-year.
Total exports during the same period reached 209,698.7 tons, representing an 8.2% year-on-year increase, highlighting steady global demand for Chinese-produced TCCA despite short-term monthly fluctuations.
In terms of major export destinations for the full year:
• Mexico: 21,194.5 tons, with an average price of USD 959.0 per ton, accounting for 10.1% of total exports.
• United States: 20,800.1 tons, with an average price of USD 2,458.1 per ton, accounting for 9.9%.
• Spain: 15,748.2 tons, with an average price of USD 1,186.9 per ton, accounting for 7.5%.
Overall, while December exports saw a year-on-year decline, China's annual TCCA exports in 2025 maintained positive growth, with major markets including Mexico, the United States, and Spain continuing to play pivotal roles in the global supply chain.
