China's 2025 TCE and PCE Exports Surge Sharply in November

China's exports of chlorinated solvents surged sharply in November 2025, according to customs statistics. During the month, exports of trichloroethylene reached 0.50 million tonnes, a 134.9% month-on-month increase and a 79.1% year-on-year rise. From January to November 2025, cumulative exports of trichloroethylene totaled 3.50 million tonnes, up 42.4% year on year.

In the same month, China exported 0.70 million tonnes of tetrachloroethylene, representing a 259.9% month-on-month increase and a 227.3% year-on-year rise. From January to November 2025, cumulative tetrachloroethylene exports reached 4.50 million tonnes, marking a 120.3% increase compared with the same period last year.

From January to November 2025, China's trichloroethylene exports were mainly shipped to India, the United States, Japan, Russia, and South Korea, accounting for 23.3%, 20.3%, 14.0%, 6.1%, and 3.9% respectively. Over the same period, the key export destinations for China's tetrachloroethylene were the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Turkey, Mexico, and India, accounting for 54.2%, 7.1%, 4.4%, 3.8%, and 3.5% respectively.
