Statistics on China's Exports of Trichloroethylene and Tetrachloroethylene from January to October

According to customs statistics, China exported 0.20 million tonnes of trichloroethylene in October 2025, reflecting a month-on-month decline of 22.2% and a year-on-year decrease of 10.3%. From January to October 2025, cumulative exports reached 3.00 million tonnes, representing a year-on-year growth of 38.0%.

In October 2025, exports of tetrachloroethylene also totalled 0.20 million tonnes, down 37.4% month-on-month but up 13.8% year-on-year. Cumulative exports from January to October amounted to 3.80 million tonnes, a significant increase of 107.3% compared with the same period last year.

By export destination during the January–October period, China's trichloroethylene exports were mainly shipped to India, the United States, Japan, Russia and South Korea, accounting for 26.1%, 16.6%, 14.6%, 6.1% and 4.4% respectively. Meanwhile, tetrachloroethylene exports were primarily directed to the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Turkey, Mexico and India, representing shares of 51.6%, 7.8%, 4.6%, 4.2% and 3.5% respectively.
