Thai AirAsia will suspend multiple China routes in its 2025/26 winter schedule as it accelerates fleet expansion and pivots growth toward India and the domestic market amid a slow Chinese travel recovery.

The United States Trade Representative has formally notified Thailand that all ongoing US-Thai tariff and trade negotiations are being suspended, according to a 15 November report by Khaosod English.

The move is intended to prevent circumvention of trade regulations through false origin declarations for goods exported to the U.S.

Thailand is accelerating negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Gulf countries to enhance trade, tourism, and investment ties.

According to statistics, 432 AEO-certified enterprises under Guangzhou Customs currently conduct import and export trade with Thailand.

Under the global minimum tax standard established by the OECD Council, Thailand will implement a minimum corporate tax of 15% on multinational corporations to prevent excessive tax competition.
