Dichloromethane (DCM): According to the latest customs data, in June 2025, China imported 0.9 tons of dichloromethane, down 93.2% month-on-month (MoM) and down 86.9% year-on-year (YoY); exports totaled 13,215.4 tons, down 29.5% MoM but up 3.75% YoY; export price was USD 387.2/ton, down 2.1% MoM and down 2.7% YoY.
From January to June 2025, China imported 44.7 tons of dichloromethane, down 94.9% YoY; exports reached 105,172.1 tons, up 22.8% YoY.
In terms of export destinations, from January to June 2025, the top five destinations of China's dichloromethane exports were Turkey, Vietnam, Brazil, Nigeria, and South Korea, with a total export of 47,439.1 tons, accounting for 45.1% of total exports. Among them:
* Exports to Turkey: 13,918.7 tons, accounting for 13.2%
* Exports to Vietnam: 9,778.4 tons, accounting for 9.3%
* Exports to Brazil: 8,403.8 tons, accounting for 8.0%
* Exports to Nigeria: 8,280.9 tons, accounting for 7.9%
* Exports to South Korea: 7,057.4 tons, accounting for 6.7%
Chloroform (Trichloromethane, TCM): According to the latest customs data, in June 2025, China imported 1,575.1 tons of chloroform, up 58.4% YoY; exports totaled 217.9 tons, up 124.6% MoM and up 31.6% YoY; export price was USD 331.0/ton, down 16.5% MoM.
From January to June 2025, China imported 1,575.4 tons of chloroform, down 64.6% YoY; exports totaled 913.1 tons, down 34.5% YoY.
Regarding export destinations, from January to June 2025, the top five destinations of China's chloroform exports were South Korea, Brazil, Ukraine, Iran, and Argentina, with a total export of 896 tons, accounting for 98.1% of total exports. Among them:
* Exports to South Korea: 760 tons, accounting for 83.2%
* Exports to Brazil: 48 tons, accounting for 5.3%
* Exports to Ukraine: 40 tons, accounting for 4.4%
* Exports to Iran: 24 tons, accounting for 2.6%
* Exports to Argentina: 24 tons, accounting for 2.6%
